This page is a collection of movies from various research projects. Most of them are movies showing the desorption of various metal hydides as a function of temperature and time. These movies are unique because they were recorded inside an Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope (ESEM) or a Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM). Note that all movies are cropped and sped up for convenient viewing.
There are other movies relating to the expansion/contraction of active electrode material in a battery and its effect on cyclability, as well as clips from some news articles related to some of our research (coming soon).
